Herzog is currently seeking an Assistant General Manager of Business/Finance in Rancho Cucamonga, California to join our team.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

*This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.

  • Plans, directs, and manages the financial and administrative activity for the organizational unit.
  • Manages capital and operating budget, conducts effective performance analysis and support executive management in the development and implementation of strategic objectives.
  • Provides financial plans, projections, and forecasts for programs and projects, and analyzes financial impacts
  • Tracks and analyzes actual expenditures versus budget performance to determine and resolve variances
  • Assumes lead responsibility for the preparation and analysis of short, intermediate, and long-term budget projects
  • Monitors departmental compliance with audit recommendations
  • Manage DBE and Mentor Protégé contract requirements
  • Ensure compliance with Federal cost eligibility and cost reimbursement requirements
  • Manages monthly progress payment invoices for Contract Base and On-call Services
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Business Accounting, Finance or equivalent required
  • Ability to perform complex financial analyses, comprehensive reports, and correspondence
  • Ability to determine strategies to achieve goals
  • Ability to resolve complex financial and administration problems
  • Ability to plan financial and staffing needs
  • Establish and implement policies and procedure
  • Must communicate effectively orally and in writing

 

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
  • Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen due to the safety sensitive nature of this position.
  • Successfully complete and maintain any required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
