Herzog Transit Services, Inc. is currently seeking a Contract Administrator in Miami, FL.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

*This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.

  • The Contract Administrator position requires a detail oriented professional to review contract terms and deliverables and ensure compliance with contract deliverable requirements.
  • The Contract Administrator also has responsibility for reviewing cost estimates, performance requirements, insurance certificates, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. 
  • Work closely with subcontractors to coordinate extra work estimate submittals, approvals, work performance and invoicing.
  • Review subcontractor estimates and submittals for conformance to requirements.
  • Prepare cost estimates for review and approval.
  • Maintain accurate records and contract documentation utilizing document control software (Prolog).
  • Work closely with management to ensure proper implementation and execution of contract.
  • Preparing all contract letters for review and approval.
  • Organizing and Maintaining contract all files.
  • Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Excellent organization, communication and follow up skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple competing priorities. 
  • Ability to work across departmental lines.
  • Ability to work with external customers and subcontractors.
  • Exceptional detail orientation.
  • Positive and solutions focused attitude.
  • Takes pride in delivering on commitments.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise appropriate judgment.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with contract/document management tools (ProLog)
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Suite is required.
  • Prior experience in a professional services environment.

 

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Subject to pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report review.
  • Subject to pre-employment physical, medical evaluation, and drug screen due to the safety sensitive nature of this position.
  • Successfully complete and maintain and required safety certification and testing on an annual basis.
